About Todd McClelland

Todd McClelland is a partner in Sterlington’s cybersecurity, data privacy, AI and litigation practices, where he advises companies on complex legal issues related to cybersecurity breaches and compliance, data privacy compliance, AI, and technology transactions.

With experience in handling global cybersecurity incidents, he also helps design cyber governance and risk management programs. Todd is well-versed in data privacy compliance, data licensing, and large-scale system integration projects. He is also a seasoned litigator with particular experience in patent, cyber, privacy, and tech litigation.

His client base is diverse, ranging from cybersecurity product providers to financial institutions. Prior to Sterlington, he led the Global Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice Group at McDermott. He holds a J.D. from Florida State University and a B.S. from Georgia Tech.
