Courtney Rockett is a partner in Sterlington’s litigation practice. She spent over 18 years as a partner at Boies Schiller, where she built her reputation as a formidable litigator in high-stakes commercial litigation. Her earlier career includes training at Cahill Gordon & Reindel and recent practice as a partner at Mintz.
With over 20 years of experience, Courtney’s main area of practice is complex civil litigation, with emphasis on commercial transactions, partnership, fiduciary duty, private aviation, real estate, insurance, securities, entertainment, and intellectual property related disputes. Courtney’s trial work spans federal and state courts nationwide. Her clients include major corporations, private equity firms, and high-profile individuals in the entertainment, finance, and technology sectors.
Courtney has been named to New York Metro Super Lawyers and listed on Crain’s New York Business: Notable Women in Law. Courtney holds a JD from St. John’s University, where she graduated summa cum laude, and a BA in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
