Paul Jebely

Partner and Vice Chair, International
Paul is a globally renowned aviation attorney and has served as lead counsel on aircraft transactions totaling nearly $23 billion. His key clients include UHNW individuals with combined wealth exceeding $1 trillion, and corporations with combined revenue exceeding $1 trillion. He has also served as lead counsel in complex private and commercial aviation disputes, restructurings and M&A.

Paul has held senior leadership roles at several leading international law firms, consistently leading firms to new milestones in aviation law practice. He is also the founder of The Hague Court of Arbitration for Aviation (CAA), launched in partnership with the Netherlands Arbitration Institute. As chair of The Hague CAA, Paul leads a group of over 140 senior aviation and legal professionals worldwide.

Paul is the contributing editor for the annual Aviation Finance & Leasing Global Practice Guide published by Chambers & Partners, and his expertise has been featured in leading publications such as The Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, and Forbes. He has received numerous awards and rankings including “Aviation Trailblazer of the Year”, “Private Aviation & Yacht Lawyer of the Year”, multiple "Deal of the Year" awards, and has been ranked Band 1 for Chambers & Partners HNW – Private Aircraft (Global) since the inception of the ranking in 2015.

He holds a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University, a B.A. from Trinity College, University of Toronto, and completed Stanford University’s Senior Executive Leadership Program. He also serves as an adjunct professor at the Nelson R. Mandela School of Law.

Paul’s client base is truly global, but he cannot offer any legal services to any clients that are based in Hong Kong and certain other jurisdictions.
