Yvette Teofan
Of Counsel, Investment Management
Yvette Teofan is a corporate lawyer focusing on funds and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Sterlington, Yvette was a partner at Cleary Gottlieb for 22 years, working in their New York and Paris offices.
Yvette specializes in fund formation and conduit fund formation of private equity funds with billions of dollars of capital commitments. She also specializes in M&A matters, having represented purchasers and sellers in billions of dollars of U.S. and cross-border private company sales, and has represented corporations in the creation of joint ventures in the areas of electronic trading platforms, video streaming services, manufacturing, and refining.
Yvette earned a J.D. from Yale Law School where she served as an editor of the law review, and a B.A. in international relations from Stanford University.
